Mommy is based on a plastic film that protects, plasticises and preserves objects, but it doesn’t allow them to be used and fulfil their function. The primary material is maternal cellophane that generates and holds together many different items as a transparent and wrapping amniotic fluid. It is not easy to get rid of a plastic film, but at the same time, it can be protective and comforting. This is how forms are created out of juxtaposed objects with no use. Sometimes, things try to free themselves by producing new shapes or trying to cross the layers of film.
